OURIKA PV Plant starts production!
The Ourika photovoltaic plant is connected to the grid and in production. After successfully completing all commissioning tests, in an outstanding collaboration between the teams of the EPC Contractor – SOLAER – and national grid operator – REN -, the plant went into service as expected. Further performance monitoring will take place in the following months.
OURIKA PV Plant, is the first and largest utility scale to be connected to the grid, in Europe, without depending on feed-in tariffs. It is therefore a pointing turn in the renewable market, proving PV technology is mature and cost competitive with other thermal or renewable sources of energy.
In the role of Site Supervision and Fiscalization, OutStandINN is proud to have taken part on such an emblematic project.
