Front End Engineering Design services for innovative and complex project in the Cement industry.
OutStandINN has recently concluded its participation on the development of FEED services for an integrated environmental and energy efficiency upgrade to an existing cement plant in Portugal. The overall project consisted on the integration of several smaller projects, all aiming to improve efficiency of the cement production lines, either by recovery of waste heat for heat and power generation, usage of alternative fuels or integration of renewables to offset part of the power needs of the plants.
For more than a year, OutStandINN has provided project management, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering services to the plant owner, implementing the engineering outputs in a consolidated 3D Model, in order to define the preliminary project documentation. The FEED documentation allowed for more precise budget calculations, bidding processes to move forward and licensing process to be successfully achieved.
